Darden-Perry Academy, is a nonprofit proposed public charter school for grades K–12 as a year around school located in Wilmington, North Carolina, and is aiming to open its doors in 2027.
The initial enrollment will be limited to 200 students, ensuring a strong, supportive foundation.

We are excited to share that a nonprofit school proposed free public charter school, Darden-Perry Academy, aim to open in 2027 to provide full-time, in-person, year-round education at no cost to families. This K–12 public charter school will serve students on the east coast of North Carolina offering an inclusive, high-quality learning environment designed to support every learner’s growth and potential.
